L2+ Helpdesk Engineer

The Position:
As an L2+ Project Engineer, you will be responsible for handling escalated technical support issues, supporting and leading client projects, improving client environments, and helping ensure that our technical work is completed accurately, securely, and professionally.
This is not a basic helpdesk position. You should already have strong MSP experience or the equivalent ability to work across multiple client environments, troubleshoot beyond the obvious, manage competing priorities, and communicate clearly with clients and teammates.
We are looking for someone who has the talent to solve technical problems, the discipline to follow process, the humility to keep learning, and the work ethic to follow through even when the work is difficult.
The essential qualities and requirements for this position include:
- Strong Level 2+ MSP troubleshooting skills across Windows desktops, Windows servers, Microsoft 365, networking, security tools, and business applications
- Experience handling escalated issues from helpdesk or junior technicians with professionalism and patience
- Ability to work on client projects such as workstation deployments, server migrations, Microsoft 365 changes, network upgrades, onboarding projects, backup improvements, and cybersecurity remediation
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical clients
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, switching, wireless, backups, endpoint protection, and remote management tools
